As global energy supply chains face heightened exposure to geopolitical vulnerabilities, regional preparedness has shifted from a policy goal to an immediate operational necessity. In response to these systemic risks, the region relies on the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Petroleum Security (APSA) to drive critical coordination, information-sharing, and mutual assistance among Member States during shortages. The bulletin outlines how integrating natural gas within this framework strengthens energy resilience while creating new avenues for sustainable business engagement.
