​In support of Malaysia’s 2025 ASEAN Chairmanship and Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy, the Canada-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) is proud to host its flagship Canada-ASEAN Business Forum 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

​

This flagship event serves as a premier platform to foster dialogue, collaboration, and partnerships between Canadian and ASEAN leaders in business and government. It aims to deepen connections across sectors critical to Canada-ASEAN trade and investment, including investments, energy transition, agriculture, digital economy, and infrastructure.

​

The Forum will focus on advancing Canada-ASEAN economic engagement and integration, particularly in support of Malaysia’s pivotal role as ASEAN Chair under the theme of “Inclusivity and Sustainability”.

Advance economic integration and trade connectivity between Canada and ASEAN: Support the ongoing trade negotiations for an ASEAN-Canada Free Trade Agreement (ACAFTA).

Promote dialogue and identify priority areas for collaboration: Provide a platform to discuss pressing issues and opportunities in Canada-ASEAN economic corridors.

Showcase opportunities and foster partnerships: Educate senior leaders of opportunities for deeper economic integration and highlight Canada’s value as a trusted partner.

This mission will take place in two parts:

  • Part 1 (September 24-26, 2025) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will center around the Canada-ASEAN Business Forum 2025, CABC’s flagship gathering of senior government officials, business leaders, and innovators from across Canada and Southeast Asia. This segment will offer Canadian companies visibility, networking, and insight into regional priorities.

  • Part 2 (September 29 to October 3, 2025) includes targeted business programming in Vietnam and the Philippines, with a focus on practical market entry knowledge, industries associations meetings, and B2B meetings/networking. Ho Chi Minh City and Manila are two dynamic economic hubs in ASEAN, offering robust opportunities in sectors like agri-food, clean technology, digital services, and health innovation.

Participation Fee: CAD$1,500  

Inclusions:

  • One (1) ticket to the Canada-ASEAN Business Forum 2025 in Kuala Lumpur (valued at $500)

  • Participation in market briefings and B2B sessions in Vietnam and the Philippines

  • Local transportation between official activities

  • Group lunches during programme days
