Event Details

In collaboration with the Canada-ASEAN Business Council, the Canada-ASEAN Chamber of Commerce (CACC) is pleased to launch a multi-market business mission tailored for Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) seeking to explore and expand into the fast-growing markets of Southeast Asia.

This mission will take place in two parts:

  • Part 1 (September 24-26, 2025) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, will center around the Canada-ASEAN Business Forum 2025, CABC’s flagship gathering of senior government officials, business leaders, and innovators from across Canada and Southeast Asia. This segment will offer Canadian companies visibility, networking, and insight into regional priorities.

  • Part 2 (September 29 to October 3, 2025) includes targeted business programming in the Philippines, with a focus on practical market entry knowledge, industry associations meetings, and B2B meetings/networking. Manila is a dynamic economic hub in ASEAN, offering robust opportunities in sectors like agri-food, clean technology, digital services, and health innovation.

As ASEAN economies rapidly expand and modernize, Canadian SMEs are uniquely positioned to offer high-quality, sustainable, and innovative solutions. Through expert-led market briefings, targeted matchmaking, and in-market exposure, participants will gain valuable business leads, deepen their understanding of local market dynamics, and build lasting relationships with ASEAN partners.

Whether you are exploring Southeast Asia for the first time or looking to expand an existing footprint, this mission offers a cost-effective and high-impact platform to achieve your business development goals in the Indo-Pacific.

Objectives

  • Facilitate high-quality meetings with industry associations, B2B connections between Canadian SMEs and vetted local businesses, distributors, and potential partners in Malaysia and the Philippines.

  • Support market entry readiness by providing participants with actionable insights on regulations, industry trends, and doing business in ASEAN through expert briefings and in-market experiences.

  • Promote Canadian innovation, quality, and sustainability across key sectors such as agri-food, cleantech, digital services, and health technology.

  • Lower barriers for SMEs by offering curated programming, in-country support, and facilitated access to regional stakeholders and networks.

  • Strengthen institutional and business linkages between Canada and Southeast Asia through collaboration with local chambers, trade offices, and ecosystem partners.

  • Build long-term commercial relationships and identify partnership opportunities aligned with regional development priorities and Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy.
