Event Details

Climate Governance Malaysia (CGM), with the support of the Canada-ASEAN Business Council (CABC), presents Episode 7 of the CGM Nuclear Webinar Series: Natural Uranium, National Independence — The Canadian Expertise.

Join us on Thursday, 18 June 2026, from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM MYT for an insightful session with Dr. Savalaxs (Sara) Supaamornkul, Director of International Marketing & Business Development at AtkinsRéalis Nuclear, Canada and Co-Chair of the CABC’s Nuclear Energy Working Group.

The webinar will explore nuclear energy's potential role in Southeast Asia's clean energy transition, drawing on Canada's expertise and the unique advantages of CANDU technology—the only commercially operating reactor technology that runs on natural uranium, offering countries greater energy independence and a more accessible pathway to nuclear adoption.

Moderated by Datuk NK Tong, Group Managing Director of Bukit Kiara Capital, this free online session is open to all.

Discover how Canada's nuclear innovation journey can help shape Southeast Asia's decarbonization future.
