Introduction
For many international aerospace and defence companies entering a new market, the real challenge is in converting early engagement into credible market positions, trusted partnerships, and sustained commercial pipelines.
Across ASEAN, successful companies tend to follow very different pathways from those that stall after an initial market push. Outcomes are shaped less by product alone and more by how firms approach partner selection, localisation, stakeholder alignment, and government-facing strategy.
This session draws on applied experience supporting international companies as they enter Singapore. It will focus on what has worked in practice, how companies have structured partnerships and operating models, and the on-the-ground realities that influence success.
Positioned ahead of the Singapore Airshow, the briefing is designed to help participating companies approach the event not simply as a marketing opportunity, but as a strategic platform for validation, positioning, and longer-term Singapore market development.
