The Philippine Government is proactively pushing towards the new eGovernance framework, which aims to enable government agencies in streamlining and improving their services for Filipinos, through the eGov Super App, eGovPay for e-payment, e-Travel, and eGOVcloud.

  • The Philippines is leading in e-wallet & Fintech adoption with over 58 million active users as of end-2022. The number of unique, active e-wallet users in the country is expected to increase reach 81 million by 2025!
  • The Philippines is actively strengthening the cybersecurity capabilities of both the public & private sectors! The country aims to enhance its capacity to deter & respond to cyber-attacks, as well as to ensure the continuous operations of its critical infrastructure, public and military networks despite attacks. 
  • As early as 2019, the Philippines had already crafted the Philippine Artificial Intelligence Roadmap.
