ASEAN Business and Investment Summit 2023

The CABC invites our members to join us at the ASEAN Business & Investment Summit 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia. This event aims to install business confidence and inspire collaborative solutions to foster ASEAN growth. Under the theme “ASEAN Centrality: Innovating Towards Greater Inclusivity,” ABIS 2023 is working to ensure business growth in the region despite challenges such as geopolitical tensions, economic fragmentation, and global headwinds. 

The event will bring together more than 2000 world leaders, CEOs, and senior executives representing multinational and regional corporations. Organized by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC), the conference will amplify the private sector voice in driving policy reforms and position ASEAN at the centre of global economic interconnectedness.

ASEAN has emerged as one of the most viable and successful regional organizations, taking pride in its role as a key regional actor, while creating an ASEAN-centric approach to economic development and regional security captured under the concept of “ASEAN Centrality”. Since its establishment in 1967, ASEAN has demonstrated strong commitment in promoting regional integration, maintaining stability, and achieving significant strides in economic development and technological advancement.

Fuelled by political stability, regional integration, and a rapidly expanding middle class, ASEAN offers immense business opportunities along with a relatively stable investment environment and a young workforce. As the world order continues to shift rapidly amid increasing geopolitical tensions, the concept of ASEAN centrality has gained greater momentum and prominence, particularly as its deep innovative capacity has helped to drive the region’s vibrant economic growth.
