The Canada-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) is conducting the Canada-ASEAN Business Outlook Survey 2019  and would like to invite CABC members and members of the public to participate in the survey.

This research project is a collaboration between CABC, University of British Columbia’s School of Public Policy and Global Affairs, with the support from the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).

The Canada-ASEAN Business Outlook Survey 2019 aims to better understand the market conditions for Canadian and Canada-linked enterprises in the ASEAN-region. This survey also aims to provide an update to the Canada-ASEAN Business Outlook Survey 2016.

Responses to this survey will:

  • Provide key insights into the opportunities and challenges in the ASEAN region,
  • Help leaders from the public and private sectors make better strategic decisions on their activities in the region,
  • Support CABC’s advocacy efforts for the policies that best support Canadian businesses.

In view of this, CABC would appreciate if you would help complete the survey and distribute it within your network. The survey is available at and is now open for responses until July 31, 2019.

The report outlining the key findings will be released at CABC’s Innovate Canada-ASEAN on September 9, 2019, in Bangkok, Thailand. The report will also be made available to all respondents and representatives of the Canadian and ASEAN governments.

Thank you in advance for supporting this endeavour!
