CABC and SMU hold launch event for Interim Report on Legal Barriers in ASEAN

CABC and Singapore Management University were proud to host a launch event on August 3rd, for the Interim Report on the Study of Legal Barriers to Doing Business in ASEAN.

This high-impact study by Singapore Management University, with the support of the CABC, takes an in-depth look at the legal barriers faced by companies trading and investing in ASEAN. The study aims to provide actionable policy recommendations to improve business conditions in ASEAN. The final report will be released in Q2 2018.

The event featured a discussion of the interim report’s main findings, including preliminary recommendations regarding key legal barriers in ASEAN by Lead Researcher Prof. Locknie Hsu, as well as remarks by the CABC and by Guest of Honour Marie-Louise Hannan, Canada’s Ambassador to ASEAN.
